What We Do
Since
its establishment in 1988, Lamar has been an active player
in the development sector, particularly in providing professional
representation services, and linkages and access between
proponents (non-government organizations, government agencies,
consulting firms, corporations, universities, individual
consultants, etc.) and international development institutions
such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, United States
Agency for International Development (USAID), Canadian International
Development Agency (CIDA), Australian Agency for International
Development (AusAID) and other multilateral and bilateral
agencies.
Lamar acts like a “gateway” to development
opportunities and information in the Asia-pacific region.
It hosts a good database on existing and prospective development
businesses and programs/projects in the region. Interested
consulting firms and consultants who wish to engage in development
programs and businesses in the region and need access to
vital information and advice can approach Lamar.
Going beyond this mandate, the firm also provides direct
assistance to development proponents, consultancy firms
and individual consultants in securing or accessing technical
and financial assistance from international development
organizations, professional representation, marketing and
liaison, preparation and submission of expression of interest,
technical and financial proposals, management consulting,
administrative and logistical services.
It has a roster of very competent international and local
consultants and technical experts in diverse fields of expertise.
